Pullen Park that is! For the entire first year of Hudson's life, this Raleigh classic had been closed. A couple of weeks ago, the park reopened with extensive renovations including a climate controlled carousel house, new (healthy and local) concessions, train station and new playground equiptment. With all of the beautiful changes, the park still looked as Carson and I remembered. We both have fond memories of going to Pullen as kids. Hudson was so mesmerized by the paddleboats, the train and all of the children playing. He couldn't stop pointing and wanted to know what everything was called.
With it being the Saturday after Thanksgiving, it was pretty crowded so we opted out of waiting on the long lines to go on the rides. I'm sure we'll have many more opportunities to fully experience this family favorite in the future!
