14 Months!

Oh my gosh, can it be? Is it really the 13th of the month and I'm actually posting? I think this might be a first...

It's hard to believe (as is it every month) that our little Boo is another month older....14 months to be exact! I think one of our favorite things about this month is how snuggly and silly Hudson has become. Every morning the least lazy first one to hear him wake up gets him from his crib and brings him in to snuggle in our bed. Hudson loves to spoon! HA!! He also likes to smack Daddy in the face while he tries to sneak in a few more Zzzzzzs before getting ready for work. Hudson continues to think he's pretty funny and loves to make people laugh. If he can get you laughing, he'll work hard to keep it that way! He's also finessed his dancing moves....the boy can DANCE. I'm so proud :).

Some other fun details of life at 14 Months...

-NO PEANUT ALLERGY! Funny story how Hudson ended up eating a peanut shell while on Daddy's watch...all's well that ends well...Hudson is a peanut butter eatn' fool!

-Toying with the idea of transitioning to one nap a day...we tried, we did it for a week, we got sick, we went back to two...we'll see how this week goes!

-Sleeps from 7:45pm-7am - LOVES to sleep snuggled in his blankie and with his lambie

-Speaking Chinese...well, maybe not Chinese but it's definitely a language we can't understand! He gets super excited and claps when we guess correctly!

-Signing for "all done" and waving "bye-bye"

-LOVES his cars and trucks! He pushes them all around the house, up the couch and even in the bathtub!

-Throws a mean temper tantrum! The boy's got lungs and he knows how to use them...especially in Panera and Target- not so fun for Mama!

-weighs 23 pounds/wearing size 12-18M clothes, size 3 diapers, size 4 shoes

-LOVES chicken, cheeses, breads, peanut butter, rice cakes, spaghetti and meat sauce, rice and beans, cheerios, and yogurt - HATES corn and peas.

-Walks holding one of our hands...

--shakes his head, "no" -- not so much to say "no" but to be silly

-tells us when he's ready for bed by putting his head on our shoulder and sucking his thumb; he'll also point to his bedroom

--into EVERYTHING!!!

-LOVES watching Curious George, Cat and the Hat and Sesame Street. We snuggle while watching Curious George every morning. It's one of my favorite times of the day :).
