We had the best time at the beach this weekend. A tropcial storm tried to scare us away but aside from the rough surf and strong breeze the weather and water were beautiful!! Hudson has become completely accustomed to life at the beach. He wakes up and snuggles with Nana and Poppy. Then he has breakfast on the porch and watches the birds. Then with much anticipation (and patience while everyone else lazily gets ready to go) he heads down to the water on the golf cart - which we can add to his list of favorite things. He can't get enough of the waves and loves to stomp his feet in the water. Hudson also discovered this weekend that he LOVES cornhole...or should I say, sitting on top of the board and putting his feet in the hole. He enjoyed doing this while the rest of us enjoyed our shrimp boil - yum! Great weekend, great fun and a great time to reflect on how thankful we are to all of the men and women who fight to protect our freedom!!
