Hudson and I had so much fun at the NCSU Farm Days this year! We went with some sweet friends from our playgroup and could not have asked for a more beautiful spring morning to be on a farm. We have been talking a lot about animals lately. Hudson loves to read books about them and tells us what each one "says". As expected, getting to see the real thing was pretty stinkin' awesome. He was just mesmerized and squealed, bounced and pointed at the sight of each new animal. He had no fear and wanted to pet each one. It was just precious to see him so full of wonder. I love how that child-like wonder returns to you a little bit as you watch your child take in new expereinces for the first time. I was pretty excited about the animals too (as captured in the picture above!). NCSU did a great job putting on this event and we will definitely be back next year!
